This week we welcome Scott Oakley to the CBFC Artist Spotlight!
Q. Where are you from?
A. Bristol in the south west of the UK.
Q. How long have you been drawing?
A. About four years, stopped when I left school then started up again.
Q. What materials do prefer to do your art with?
A. I use copic markers for hand drawn and I use procreate on the iPad for digital stuff.
Q. Character you love to draw?
A. I love drawing Spiderman, you can have so much fun with his poses. Just love it.
Q. What Character would you want to draw that you haven’t drawn yet?
A. Hmm, thats a hard one, it would have to be Loki. Yea Loki, one of these days lol.
Q. What artist inspires you the most and why?
A. Jorge Jimenez at the moment, his autonomy is incredible. But there is a lot of incredible artists that inspire me.
Q. What was your first published work?
A. Marvel cards for upper deck.
Q. Which artist would you love to do a collaboration piece with?
A. Probably Derek Laufman cause his work in fun
