This week we welcome Debs to the CBFC Artist Spotlight!
Q. Where are you from?
A. Born and raised in a small town in Italy.
Q. How long you’ve been drawing?
A. I’ve always been drawing since I remember but professionally from 2020.
Q. What materials do you prefer to do your art with?
A. I started using a graphic tablet since I was fourteen and never looked back.
Q. Character you love to draw?
A. It’s either zombie monsters or a guy dressed in a sandwich suit for Chortle Comics Joe DeRosa.
Q. Character that you want to draw that you haven’t drawn yet?
A. I never thought about it, I’d like to try to draw anthropomorphic characters like in BLACKSAD.
Q. What artist inspires you the most and why?
A. The couple Jorge Jimenez/ Alejandro Sanchez is the perfect example of what I’d like to be in 10 years.
Q. What was your first published work?
A. I started from short stories in magazines, but I guess my first ever published comic was The Lost Gardens.
Q. Which artist would you love to do a collaboration piece with?
A. I still have a long way to go but it would be fun to collab with Francesca Fantini.Art!
