This week we welcome Joe G to the CBFC Artist Spotlight!
Q. Where are you from?
A. I’m from Edinburg, Texas.
Q. How long you’ve been drawing?
A. I’ve been drawing for 8 years but only started taking art more serious about 4 years ago.
Q. What materials do you prefer to do your art with?
A. I use copic markers/liners, prisma liners, water color pencils and posca paint markers.
Q. Character you love to draw?
A. Red hood, Batman and super sons are my favorite characters to draw.
Q. Character that you want to draw that you haven’t drawn yet?
A. Wolverine
Q. What artist inspires you the most and why?
A. Jorge Jimenez inspires me the most. His style of art, the way he draws feels like a movie, and you feel the passion behind his work.
Q. What was your first published work?
A. Nothing yet.
Q. Which artist would you love to do a collaboration piece with?
A. I’d really like to collab with Jorge jimenez. i think we could definitely have the best collab of the year.
